At 53 years old, here are a few things that I have observed.
Life does go by quickly.
There really is nowhere to go and nothing to do.
Nobody knows what is going on, we are all making it up all of the time.
What people and “the news” are talking about is very different from what is actually going on.
The chatter in my head is very different from what is actually going on.
War is very popular. We love to be in battles with other people.
Stepping away from drama is a true mark of personal maturity.
Struggle is one of my favorite forms of drama.
Almost all of my suffering is a result of me resisting what is actually going on.
Find out who and what I love and do that. Pursing anything else is total bullshit, in my life.
The only peace that I will ever find is in my own body and in my own heart, if I am willing to do the work.
At any moment in time, I am choosing to pursue survival or I am choosing to pursue my passion.
In the end, no one survives anyway.
And that, my friends, is a glass full of freedom.
